Took my 06 T&C to a dealer to have it serviced. They changed the oil & everything checked out ok except there was a problem in the steering rack. Had some noise in the steering the past couple of weeks so I listened. The steering rack was leaking fluid and it was going into the boots which could cause a problem of locking up. Hi. I hope by now you have solved this. For others with this problem, however, have your fuel pump wiring checked. A rodent had chewed through mine (1997 T&C), resulting in continuous successful engine cranking without ignition, because the engine was not getting fuel. Repair of the wiring took care of it. I purchased a 2007 town and Country and I had the same problem the day after we picked up the car from the dealer. My husband was driving the car and it shut down while he was waiting at a red light and my child was in the car. Hi, No we have not. It is now in D1 status which means it should be built soon. The latest update that I received from Chrysler was that it had a ship date of 3-25-08 . It will take about 1 week after the ship date for it to get to the dealer which is about 40 miles from where they are built.It has been over 10 weeks since it was ordered. For those that don't think your top load washer washes as well as a side loader, have you used the High Efficiency detergent recommended for the newer top loaders. Some manuf. are requiring it to not void out the warranty I've been told. The HE stuff works better for those HE machines. Our top loader cleans great. You will be shocked and in for a surprise when you see a new T & C (or was it GC?) base model in the lower $20's. I've been waiting to see this ever since it was announced it was going to be the next minivan from DC. Have had good luck with my 1997 GC Sport, but looking for something soon. Below is the bulletin I found regarding my 1998 Dodge Grand Caravan. I have noticed that the Chrysler Town and Country has many of the same bulletins.
