    I have a 2005 Chrysler Town & Country Minivan. The DVD Player quit working. It has no power. Does anyone no what fuse protects this? I looked in the fuse/relay box, but I cannot find any blown fuses. Is there a chance that the plug supplying power to the DVD player has come unplugged? Any help or suggestions would be greatly appreciated.

    We have a 2007 DGC, and none of our sets have experienced the problem you have. I'm guessing that you cannot buy just the cable or leg from Chrysler, but rather have to buy the whole seat.     The A/C on my 2005 T&C will start cold and then blows hot, then cold again and will continue this cycle for some time. Dealer shop check the freon and for leaks and said it was OK, but the problem didn't exhibit itself while in service. Anyone have any suggestions? Thanks.

    I too just experienced a 'power door lock falure'... out of nowhere my door locks stopped working. Thank you so much for posting your experience online. I am sure you saved my a lot of money. All I did was remove 10D fuse counted to 30 and vuala! My locks now work! Thank you so much!!

    Recalls are normally only done for things that are directly safety related. What Chrysler should do (and they have done this in the past with similar issues) is admit there was a defect with a significant number of these steering racks, and issue an extended warantee for that part - including retroactive payments for anyone who already had to pay for the replacement.     If there is a recall there is nothing in the system. I put my last 8 digits of my Vin for recall searches in Chrysler.com and found nothing regarding brakes. Regarding my local dealer, I never feel comfortable with speaking to their reps behind the counter. When ever you ask them anything its always "I don't know, but bring it in and we'll take a look".

    Thanks for the reply - good luck with your mechanic's possible fix. I spoke with my dealer...taking the van in next week. He admitted that brakes are an ongoing issue with T&C's and he is constantly is repairing/replacing. In fact, he mentioned that Chrysler has a perpetual recall on their minivan brake systems...might be worth checking into with your dealer. I'll update after my visit.

    Unfortunately, this appears to be a temporary fix. My locks quit working again in 3-4 days. Removing the fuse fixes it only temporarily.     I found a fix for this problem on the internet - (ain't it wonderful!!!!). Turns out the computer can get confused about a door lock actuator problem which will disable the locks (horn, lights, memory seats all change but no locks).     Yes, had exact same situation. 2005 T&C LX and door locks not working. Remove battery cable to reset computer, and then they work for a few days and then they stop again. Take vehicle to Chrysler and am advised I need a software update to the computer and they charge me for it! Why are we charged for a problem with Chrysler's computer programming?
