Town & Country front blower fan keeps blowing at full speed

2003 chrysler front blower fan comes on when I turn the key and stays on full speed, even if I turn off the air control. I checked the relay and it's fine, it turns off when I take the key out. Please help...

Other than calling the customer service number listed, I don't know what else you can do other than getting a lawyer involved. I don't understand why they are denying your claim, since my letter stated it covered 2006 and 2007 model years. If they never fixed the problem in 2006, and still had problems in 2007, then it would seem to me that all 2006 model year product would be covered. ... Read More

So, does anyone have a suggestion of where I can lodge a complaint with Chrysler? I have been through three case managers and all say there is nothing they can do for me, the VIN on my 2006 Town & Country is excluded from the Rear Evaporator Warranty extension. The letter I received I referred to in post 153 states that the extended warranty applies only to 2006 and 2007 Caravan, Grand Caravan and Town & Country minivans. It does not mention any exclusions except that the extended warranty does not cover other A-C parts. It applies only to the rear evaporator. If some other component failed, then this extended warranty would not apply. There is a phone number listed ... Read More

I too would be very interested in seeing this letter. Our 2006 with only 39,900 miles made a loud hissing sound and the A/C quit, so we took it in too, of course be told it wasn't covered. I'm curious about this too. My wifes van is having the same problem. Continues to blow cold up to the 2nd hash mark on the guage, then about a minute later it drops to just between the 2nd hash mark and the 1st hash mark. At this point, it starts to produce heat. Had the same problem as bravado1 with our 2003 Chrysler Town and Country van. Replaced the control module (p/n 5179985AA) and problem is solved. The control module cost $103 in Mpls, MN. Thanks for your help bravado1!

The swaybar bushings on Gen4 vans are problematic, period, full stop, the end. Some also claim that the swaybar ends are troublesome as well although it is unclear whether that is actually the case or whether the links are being lumped in with the noise generated by worn bushings. Our 1997 Plymouth Voyager SE is currently sitting outside a county building in a parking lot. Why? Because it died and wouldn't restart. This is not 1985, or even 2000. Owning a Nissan 20 years ago does not mean the Quest sucks. First gen Siennas and Odys were not very good either. I'm a new owner of this van. First tank of gas worked out at about 19.2 miles per gallon in suburban/city driving. Working on the second tank now so we'll see how this one does; same driving conditions; mostly just me in the van with the exception of short distances to and from school with the kids; couple of short "whole family" trips. 2002 T&C LX has averaged 26.1 in overall driving since I got it as a used vehicle (mainly highway). 2002 Chrysler T&C LX 3.3L V6 EPA 18 / 24 2002 Kia Sedona LX or EX 3.5L V6 EPA 15 / 20 The Chrysler is larger, quieter, smoother riding, and gas mileage MUCH better than the Kia Sedona. From what I've read, Chrysler has really tried to refine the powertrain of the new 2003 Turbo Cruiser. They've done alot of work and modifications to the existing powertrain to ensure it works well with the new turbo, which is not supposed to have the lag commonly associated with turbo chargers.
