2002 Chrysler Town and Country Limited AWD 4dr Minivan (3.8L 6cyl 4A)

You would think if you serviced you vehicle on time every time it would last..not so with this van. Sliding doors broke, arm rests fell off, power steering hose kept breaking almost wrecked on interstate, heated seats stop working, ate through brakes and rotors, tires costantly, shocks went bad, poor gas mileage,I kept taking it back to the dealer they would reset this reset that. transmission needed replaced at 109,000.

Need root cause for all these problems. My electric sliding doors are erratic in opening (but always close). What does "broke" mean? No arm rest problems. AWD vans (mine) had a dealer-installed power steering cooler. The hoses leak at the cooler, which better hose clamps easily fix. Find a smarter mechanic or better learn to fix things yourself. Chrysler doesn't make brakes. They only wear when you push the brake pedal, which wastes energy (your poor mileage), so learn to drive smart. These 4 spd trannys are very reliable, so I doubt yours was really bad at 109K mi, but if you trust shops you pay $$$.
