Review
Build quality-dealer repainted the roof and tailgate because of peeling, plastic coated ext trim began to yellow(due to harsh high altitude sunshine), replaced right fog light because glass lens fell off. Reliability-Radio CD player-replaced at 75,000mi, Fuel pump failed at 120,000 mi, Transmission started to slip at 175,000 mi(then had it rebuilt). . Fuel economy constant 22 mpg. Sold after 11 years at 198,543 mi.
Favorite Features
Previous van was a 1997 Dodge Caravan 4cyl auto short wheelbase. As the family grew we need more space & bought the T&C. Having a 3.8 V6 this van scooted ( how it got its name). Comfort was what we needed for long trips. Liked the electronic instrument panel. Drove city/hwy & mountain roads.
Suggested Improvements
Turning diameter is poor, the new T&C's are 5 ft shorter in diameter which is a great improvement. Fog/driving lights were do not improve night driving(light was very diffused).
