Chrysler Sebring Starting and Stalling Problems

Re: 2008 chrsler sebring stalling while driving [mmcargrl]

I have a 1996 Sebring Convertible Jxi 2.5L. I want all of you to know that I had this stalling problem, and it was very scary. I stalled on the freeway and thought I was going to get crushed by a semi truck, I also stalled at stops and on normal streets. I thought I probably would die in my car because of this. My mechanics kept scratching there heads and changing parts ... Read More...

Chrysler Sebring Owners - Meet the Members

Re: Hello & Welcome! [KarenS]

Hello KarenS. I recently purchased a used 2006 Chrysler Sebring Touring Sedan, 27K miles. I did plenty of endless online research to narrow down my future choice of automobile, and was pleased with the reliability ratings given to the 2005 model. I hope this holds true to the 2006 models. I however choked when buying the actual car. I did all this research, but ... Read More...

Chrysler Sebring Brake Problems

Re: 2007 Chrysler Sebring Owners ALERT - Brake Shimmy [yoyis2024]

yes - I think we both are having the same symptoms, and yes same with me I bought my car in November 2007, I just recently found that the car has been on the dealers lot since October of 2006 and was one of the units first produced - the dealer turned the rotors & replaced pads but that did not resolve problem - I am taking car to another dealer by request of Chrysler factory ... Chrysler Sebring Engine Problems

Engine Failure

My husband and I purchased a 2006 Chrysler Sebring, with a 2.4 Liter V4 engine in it, back in November. When we bought it, it had roughly 46,000 miles on it. We have had nothing but trouble with this car since we bought it... Not even two months into owning it we had to have the transmission flushed because of some problems with it, then, just last week, we had to put new ... Read More...

Chrysler Sebring New Owners Reports

Re: Love my Sebring ! [cliff11]

I too am really enjoying my Sebring. It's a new 2006 convertible Limited that was one of the last few on the local lots during the summer of 2007, and the 2008 models were already on the lots. (Chrysler didn't make a 2007 model.) The only issue I've had is that there is a worn spot on the soft top that is about the size of a pea. The dealer's rep took a quick look at it and immediately ... Chrysler Sebring Convertible Top and Sunroof Issues

Fraying Soft Top

My 2006 Sebring convertible is a new demo. I've owned it for a month and it has 6500 miles. There are two spots on the fabric top -- on the left side and on the opposite place on the right side -- just above the trunk where the fabric is showing signs of wear. The dealer I bought it from looked at it on a Saturday and asked that I show it to their soft-top specialist who is available ... Read More...

Article Comments - 2008 Chrysler Sebring Convertible First Drive and Full Test

Re: Sebring Convertible hardtop 3.5L to arrive June 08/2007 on dealer lots [flash11]

I have a 2006 Impala with the base six (3.5 litre) and I get around 20 in town and 32-34 on the road. I doubt that high gas prices will "kill" the V-6. I certainly intend to get one on a TOuring convertible as soon as 2008 program cars hit the street. I like to be able to pass people and my experiences with the 4's have not been good. A V-6 is normally smooth, quiet, and fairly ... Read More...

Re: Article Comments - 2008 Chrysler Sebring Convertible [jscholz]

I agree. I'll be interested in the mid-level model with the small six or the base model with an optional six. Why they even attempted to put a four in this size car is beyond belief. This is a nice looking car and like all Sebrings, Impalas, etc. it will have a huge depeciation so I won't waste money on a new one but will wait about six months or so until the ex-rental cars ...
