    Someone advised me to go to the dealer and get a printout of a Service Bulletin. I went and got it from the dealer and it contained 3-4 pages of things that needed to be done. This required a technician to have specialized equipment to do all the analizing and code clearing. It was going to be expensive!. I took the printout to my mechanic he said it was a bunch ...     Start with opening the door and on the underside pull the rubber seal away from the door. It could be stuck there are drain holes all along the door so be sure to clean all the gunk off the back of the rubber seal or it will stick to the door frame again.     I'm with you. I owned a 2001 Chrysler Sebring Convertible V-6 engine. Engine siezed at 91,000 miles in 2005. Chrysler told me it was my problem. Never got a diagnosis because they said it would cost more to take it apart than replace it. Currenly own a Toyota Solara.

    I was the original owner of a 2001 Sebring Convertible. Changed oil regularly according to specs. In 2005 engine seized with 90,000 miles. Chrysler gave me nothing other than scrap value. Will never buy another Chrysler product.

    I've had the same intermittent problem with my 2003 Sebring Limited convertible. Early 2005, dealer replaced the multi-function switch on the steering column. This fixed the problem. However, just last night the instrument cluster went dark again. This morning it was lit up fine. Looks like it's time to see the dealer again for another muti-function switch replacement. Looks like Daimler Chrysler switch is designed for short life.

    There IS a real safety issue, and your dealer is either a liar or he doesn't read the safety updates from Chrysler. You have a defective G3 seatbelt. Please go to www.unsafebelts.com to learn about it. Then call the dealership and bawl them out.
