Has anyone had water leak problems with the Sebring Convertible? I have a 2002 convertible and have had standing water in the passenger side back foot well - has happened 5 times since I've had car. In the time frame of a week and a half, I have had to have my '00 Chrysler Sebring JXi convertible towed to service three times for miscellaneous repairs and have still had the continual stalling out of the engine, almost everything has been replaced, so far in the past year and a half we have spent almost 1,800.00 in repairs on this car and it is still not functioning ... I've got a 2002 LXI Convertible, which is also a piece of junk! There should be a class action suit against Chrysler. I wonder how many known problems are played down by them. I've had warped front break rotors, windows that wouldn't go down together properly when the roof was lowered, iffy climate control, rattle at the right-rear, intermittent/now solid airbag ... I purchased my car new and have had several small and mid sized problems with it. It has 38,000 miles on it. I love the look and ride. The transmission shifts pretty bad though, lots of klunks. Other problems: Engine light turned out to be a problem with the seat belt (warranty on two occassions) Engine light turned out to be a problem with the gas tank vacuum line (warranty) ... I have a 2002 LX and I bought the car with 19K and all was fine through 03-04. Late last Winter, I noticed a groaning squawking sound in the front end at start and stop. At first I thought it needed a lube job but it is factory sealed. I as well do not notice the noise when the weather gets warmer. I will llook into new struts since now at 70K they may be due. hi i own a 2002 sebring conv ,i have had rear rattling brakes since 20k and chrysler would not cover..its a bad clip that holds the pads on,but i have to replace the brakes completely..i have had many problems with front end also..rick Read More...

I purchased a used 2002 Chrysler Sebring Lxi model about three months ago. It now has about 70,000 miles on it. I have not had any major problems (yet), but I have noticed that there was a grinding noise coming from my right tire while turning to the left.
