would this apply to a 96 LX coupe? my vehicle had to jum started after sitting a few months...when started, the stereo and ac didnt work. i checked the fuses and sure enough they were blown. the ac works great, but the infinity system has no sound but the player works. since then i have had "slipping", "bogging down", and "sticking" with the tranny. i had it checked ... We have had problems with our 2002 Sebring radio and 4 CD changer and will be replacing it with an aftermarket unit. Any local car stereo shop can sell and install a unit for you. Cruchfield.com is also a good source for after market stereo/cd players. You will not be able to buy a unit which will control your 4 CD changer. No one makes such a unit. You can probably find ... I agree. I'll be interested in the mid-level model with the small six or the base model with an optional six. Why they even attempted to put a four in this size car is beyond belief. This is a nice looking car and like all Sebrings, Impalas, etc. it will have a huge depeciation so I won't waste money on a new one but will wait about six months or so until the ex-rental cars ... I was hopeful for the 2007 model. Currently, I own a 2002 black Sebring LX. I bought it brand new for a really good price. It feels very solid and it's proven to be a faithful soldier. After installation of a replacement battery (by a non-Chrysler garage) I now have the exact same problem with 3 flashing equalizer LEDs on my 2001 Sebring Sedan. Just replaced the blower switch resistor on my 2001 Chrysler Sebring because speeds 1-3 did not work on the blower, but 4 did. Its a very easy project to accomplish yourself. I bought the part for $41+tax, the dealer wanted to charge me $90 to install. It is a little cumbersome to work on under the glovebox, and upside down, but anyone can do it.
