I have a 1997 Chrysler SEbring convertable, my roof rattles once I latch it down. I have adjusted the latch hooks to there max, and still have rattleing (although reduced). I noticed that the latch placement seats have come loose or moved out from the top of windshield ( were the pins seat). Is there a way to correct this?

I had a 1997 Sebring LXi with similar symptoms. Mechanic replaced the Exhaust Gas Recirculation E.G.R. Valve located directly behind the engine adjacent to the firewall. That corrected the problem and the repair cost about $150. Good luck.

I have a 1997 Sebring JXi convertible. At times,usually shortly after starting the car, the digital display for the odometer and automatic transmission and the tachometer quit working. I own a 1997 Chrysler Sebring convertible JX, which I've had numerous problems with that I won't go into at this time. Suffice it to say there will never be another Chrysler in my life again. Latest problem is the power steering shakes and shimmies so much, it's almost impossible to drive. Any hints or solutions?

Just Curious if anyone knows where I can find out where the thermostat is on my car. I don't want to have to pay a mechanic for something that small. Can anyone explain to me where it is. Also my mileage gauge and my tac go off and on whenever they want to, either they are both off or on. Does anyone have any thoughts on that too. Thanks

I had this same problem on my 1997 chrysler sebring convt. except mine was on the passenger side, and it was caused by a plug being somewhere along the frame all they had to do was unplug the plug, it's just a little stopper under the car. hope this helps!!!

Just like posting #75 and #103, my 97 JX is having the same problem of the odometer and tachometer going offline intermittently. Everything else works on the dash. My 1997 Chrysler Sebring will change the first gear and then it will not change again. I have changed the transmission speed censors(input and output) but the problem is still there does anyone no anything else that might be wrong with it.
