i have the same problem with 1996 sebring,i was told it was two problems causing this,the first is the M.A.P sensor and the other was my catalytic converter was bad and causing my engine to misfire and stall out in the middle of traffic,mostly after coming to a stop. so try these and if all else fails go to autozone and get a free diagnostics reading,thats how i got my answer,because ... I haven't heard anything back about the car cutting out. The garage that I brought it to is now closed due to a electric fire there so I have been waiting on an appointment at the local Chrysler dealership. Just my luck they dont have an opening until the end of next week.
I'm in serious trouble. My security system is activating and not allowing me to start my car and I was supposed to be at work a half hour ago. I live 15 miles out of town in a remote area. How do I disengage the blankety blank security system? Thanks for your immediate help.
In response to several (I counted 10) messages on this board re the crunching/squeaking noise in the steering, especially at cold temps and when braking.
