The turbo engine option and somewhat tossable chassis make the PT lively. The base-level engine, however, is weak.
Space up front is adequate, but some might not prefer the upright seating position. Ride quality is generally smooth.
Slightly smaller than the HHR, the PT Cruiser still provides a good amount of cargo space and flexibility. The control layout is simple and easy-to-use.
The PT Cruiser's shape is familiar, perhaps too much so. The convertible variant is unique, however. Build quality is average.
