my wife just traded her 2001 pt cruiser in on a 2007 with 15,000 miles on it at a Chrysler dealership. The car was purchased on jan.2,2008 and at the time we asked where the block heater was as any car that is built for Canada has to come with a block heater. I have a 2007 PT convertable automatic turbo with 7000 miles on it. Getting 17 miles to the gallon on average. I was told by putting a Magnaflow exhaust on I will get better gas mileage by 2 to 5 miles per gallon. Has anyone tried this and does it work. Read More...

UPDATE: On the vibration problem on some PT Cruisers. I have a 2007 and a 2006 PT Cruiser. The 2006 had a vibration at 18 - 20 and 40 - 50 mph. Very irritating. Took to a local Chrysler dealership to have the service manager tell me at 22000 miles their was nothing that could be done. I unhooked the battery on my PT to clean off some corrosion on one of the bolts. When I restarted the car, the CD player shuffled thru the discs and then CA-pooy. Hello all, How much should I pay for a brand new, left-over PT Cruiser GT? MSRP is $24,650 and it has only 15 miles on odometer. It's a gold five-speed manual GT with leather, sunroof, and SIRIUS satelite radio. You never mentioned what either of these variables are, so for now I will assume that you are interested in a 36 month lease with 15,000 miles per year. Its lease program also varies by region. I bought an 2006 base model with A/C, keyless, CD satellite radio and an auto trans for $11,200.00 (plus tax & lic) in November...a great deal on a very good transportation car. I don't think there are any differences between the '06 and the 2007 because the PT was just significantly refreshed in 2006. I would certainly buy this car again. It is not an exciting car ... No hard information, but my guess is that changes will be light since 2006 had a heavy update and the platform will apparently be migrating to the AWD capable Caliber platform for '08.
