You don't say if you bought it new or used. New would give you a better way to take care of the issues, used has limited options. Either way I would go to the Owner/ manager of the dealership you bought it from and address your issues with him/her. If you get blown off ask for the Zone rep to get involved. Lookin the backof the owner's manual. I should tell you how to file with the National Center for Dispute Settlement. It took some time, but it worked for me. Chrysler bought the car back with no charge for mileage.

During the slightly over 5000 miles and one year that I had my 2007 Pacifica Touring, the transmission was reprogrammed twice, the torque converer was replaced, the rear brake rotors were replaced, the motor mounts were replaced, the sway bar bushings were replaced, the right front strut was replaced, and the steering rack was replaced. We are very pleased with our Pacifica Touring AWD ! We have almost 21,000 miles and we bought it Aug 31, 07. Yes we too had the trans. shifting hard and the shuddering problems. If an additive is added, let the dealer do it and have them document it so that you do not void the warranty. The sad fact is, I do not believe that Chrysler knows how to fix these cars. Chrysler is supposed to be buying back my 2007 Pacifica. The problem now is that the selling dealer does not seem to have the proper paprwork. I have not driven my car for a month, but I am still paying for it and the insurance. If Chrysler had a half compentent atorney,I would not be writing this.

The Pacifica FWD has a 6-8 week lead time and the AWD has a 8-10 week lead time. My MPG also sucks. Whether the mechanic is right or not it doesn't really matter to me. Because I would have never bought a car that shakes or shudders. Same problem here from an April purchase. Chrylser (or at least the dealer) doesn't want to own up to much. I've been in four times and not even had a torquer converter replaced yet. Other problems also. Is your MPG so good that you believe what the mechanic told you? Mine really sucks.

Correction - I only put about 1900 miles on the car as I bought it with 1500 miles on it. And the problem started within a month of purchase if not sooner.

I bought a 2007 Pacifica in October 2007 and the shuddering started shortly after that. I had the torche converter replaced and it still shudders. The mechanic said this is the way these cars drive because the idle is kept low for fuel economy. I'm sorry I bought it because it is driving me crazy. I have only put 3400 miles on it.

That does not correspond with my experience. We noticed the shudder before 700 miles were on the car... and it has only gotten worse. With 3,600 miles on it they are putting in the new torque converter. By the way, my Pacifica is the 2007 Spring Special also with AWD. Good luck. You MUST get extended warranty. It is a must with Chrysler cars. I had 2001 PT Cruiser and paid dearly (about 4000$) in after warranty repairs (on a low mileage car).I kept it for 7 years and finally trade it in. I like Pacifica but went with Mazda5 instead. Can not spend even 1 cent on Chrysler any more. They lost me as a driver for my lifetime.
