I have a 2007 PAC that now needs engine work. In November the transmission that was replaced in 2010 ($2000) needed to be rebuilt again. I've repaired motor mounts twice ($400). When I purchased the car in 2007 I had the stall problem that was fixed with the software upgrade. I'm a single middle class Person and I can't afford the cost to repair/replace an engine. My AC is not working, ... Read More
I have a 2007 Chrysler Pacifica with the 4.0L V-6 and 43,000 miles. About two months ago, I had the battery replaced. Since then, I went for a state emissions test. The vehicle didn’t fail, but I received a “reject” notice meaning the test could not be completed. The car has passed the emissions test previously. I was told that replacing the battery meant loss of power to the emissions sensors ... Read More
I purchased a brand new 2008 Pacifica Touring WP Chrysler Signature Series in March 2009. It sat on the dealer's lot since it was manufactured in October 2007. It only has 33,000 miles on it today and is still under the original 3/36 warranty, probably one of the last Pacifica's still under the original 3/36 warranty. The 2008 model year has a Lifetime Powertrain Warranty for the original owner. If you ... Read More

We have a 2007 Pacifica. We too have had many of the same issues you have all spoken of. It was never right from the day we bought it brand new. It would clunk when shifting. Then it started stalling when I ... Read More
Good afternoon, Well I have a 2007 AWD Pacifica and had a very nice experience with it yesterday. What you describe is not so much an engine problem as a dealer service problem! After pulling the engine three times someone has to be doing something wrong! I believe the Dealers service had to be messing up bad...REAL BAD!!!!! We have a 2007 Pacifica ... Read More
I have a 2007 model Pacifica, manufactured in 11/06. Currently at apprx 50,000 miles it has been consuming 1 quart of oil about every 800 miles. It was very reassuring; as sad as they that may sound; that I was not alone with this issue. I took our 2007 Pacifica in 2 days ago because of smoke billowing from the exhaust pipes. No, as a matter of fact it has happened again. I am very, very frustrated with Crystler at this point. Our local dealer has been wonderful, but the Crystler corporation has done nothing this time but give me the run around. I would sell the Pacifica if you can.
IrenZ, Did you ever get this straightened out? Last night we went to lock our car and discovered that it is only locking the driver's door. The alarm is on ( we can see the red alarm flashing through the glass) and the driver's door is locked but ... Read More
I wouldn't buy a Pacifica any older than 2007. You definitely want the 4.0L and 6-Speed Transmission. This is the same package in the current Town & Country. 2007 was the first year for both which might account for the 'tricky' issues. I would hope they would have been worked out during the warranty period. I have a 2008 Touring WP Chrysler Signature Series and love it. The mileage computer regularly ... Read More

It appears these issues are more with the All-Wheel-Drive version of the Pacifica than the Front-Wheel-Drive. Please differentiate which version you have when posting. Hi riv7298. I am not aware of any banks that publish lists of their current money factors and residual values for consumers. Given the level of lease support that is currently available on this model, chances are it will be cheapest to lease it through Chrysler Financial. I can give you an idea of what its lease program for it is currently like. You never mentioned how long you want to ... Read More
It depends on exactly when you made the deal. $400 over invoice is a bit generous, especially at the very end of the model year. I had also been agonizing over the 2007 Pacifica for about 9 months before I “took the plunge.” I located a car that had much more stuff than I would normally have needed and had been on the dealer’s lot since early this year (before price ... I installed two Alpine 7" widescreen headrest monitors in my wife's Pacifica for the kids to watch. It is working well. Our model is a 2007 Signature Series FWD, that like yours, came with the 6 DVD in-dash changer but no outlet for the video. I bought the dealer'$ book$ for the car, so I was able to track down the right wires using the Wiring Diagrams book. I'm not much ... Read More

I BOUGHT MY 07 PACIFICA ON JULY 3 AND ON JULY 4TH WITH 75 MILES ON IT, THE ENGINE LIGHT CAME ON AND THE CAR WASN'T SHIFTING. BROUGHT IT TO THE DEALER AND WAS TOLD THE TRANNY WAS SHOT. THEY COULDN'T BELIEVE IT! THEY GAVE US A NEW CAR AND WE HAD THAT ONE FOR 2 DAYS AND 160 MILES AND GUESS WHAT?! SAME PROBLEM!! THEY HAVE HAD THE CARE FOR ... Read More
Same problems w my 07 Pacifica. It is in shop right now and I am told that Chrysler is currently producing a new torque converter to be released 8/15/07. Fortunately, the dealership and Chrysler has recognized that there is a problem and they are working to correct it. Hopefully, this new TC will solve the problem. I'm getting annoyed with not being able to drive my new vehicle.
Hi Car Man, My wife and I want to lease the 2007 AWD Chrysler Pacifica Touring. I wanted to know where we can find out the money factor for this car. Would we have to go through a bank website? If so, which bank sponsors Chrysler? I'm in the process of figuring lease payments so that we will be in a better position to negotiate when we approach the dealer.

You MUST get extended warranty. It is a must with Chrysler cars. I had 2001 PT Cruiser and paid dearly (about 4000$) in after warranty repairs (on a low mileage car).I kept it for 7 years and finally trade it in. I like Pacifica but went with Mazda5 instead. Can not spend even 1 cent on Chrysler any more. They lost me as a driver for my lifetime.
Currently i am leasing Chrysler Pacifica 2005 and i am paying 297$ per month for 24 month 15,000 per year. My lease is ending tomorrow and dealer offered me to give 2007 Pacifica for $230 (with lease loyalty and employee discount). This is for 7 seater (touring) and 12,000 miles/year for 24 months. Is this a good deal? This is in Michigan. How do we calculate the leasing amount? I see ... Read More
