HELP Fuel Smell! 2001 Chrysler LHS

When I start the car after it has been off for a few hours and have the heat or AC on it reaks of gasoline so much I can not stand it. Inside and out you can smell the overpowering fumes to the point I have to get out of the car. fastdriver -- 7/70 warranty

Gotta disagree with your last that there was no 7/70 warranty on the '99 LHS. Took delivery of mine in April 1998 and was offered my choice of 3/36 or 7/70. Since the 7/70, at that time, included only 1/12 along with it on items other than the drive train, I opted to get the 3/36 warranty. I have posted this before on both LHS and 300M topics. Here is the scoop on DRL's. Though I haven't checked, I suspect that the module discussed next will fit on most recent Chrysler products OR there is one made to fit them because Canadian Chrysler product MUST have RL's installed on them. After hanging around this BB for almost two years, I took the plunge. Bought a new Garnet Red LHS with only two options: Luxury group and Side Air Bags for $26,241.00 + Sales Tax and Registration. LHS,it all seems the will no longer exists,there is a word that for 2004 ALL LH cars will be Rear wheel drive,except the lHS,instead of it Chrysler plans to introduce the Charger!
