Pretty Good
Vehicle
1990 Chrysler Imperial 4 Dr STD Sedan
Review
Bought car with 69,000 miles for $2000. It now has 71,000 miles and has needed a waterpump, new hoses, rear brakes (rotors and pads), muffler, battery, and that is about it. It has pretty good pickup and will run with a 1994 Crown Vic till about 90 MPH. Very comfortable car on the staights but you have to take it really easy on the turns due to "comfort tuned" suspension.
Favorite Features
I love the power seats and the looks I get from the Ladies. ;) It also sounds pretty quick revving it up.
Suggested Improvements
Stiffer suspension, more horsepower, and that's it.

Imperial more than a name
Vehicle
1990 Chrysler Imperial 4 Dr STD Sedan
Review
I have enjoyed excellent service from my Imperial. I wanted a good looking, quiet, dependable, economical, and unique automobile. The Imperial has not disappointed me any at all. I receive compliments on it's good looks and uniqueness. Most people that inquire are surprised this car is 15 years old now. The unique front end, tailights, and formal roofline set this car off from others around it. The sumptuous interior includes supple Mark Cross leather seats and a premium sound system. It rides like a dream but not wallowy like a boat. You drive surrounded by genuine luxury, security, in an atmosphere of peace and quiet. The car does work the small engine, but the fuel economy is excellent
Favorite Features
Unique looks, quiet ride, dependability, supple ride and luxurious interior, and fuel economy. I regularly receive compliments of how good looking the car is for its age. I replaced the small 14" wheels with attractive 16" wheels and tires. This really improved the ride and suspension performance.
Suggested Improvements
The rustproofing metal treatment should have been more thorough. The 3.3 V-6 engine is just adequate, the 3.8 has much snappier performance for interstate traffic. Provisions for aesthetically integrated foglights would have been appreciated.

Better Buy Than Caddy or Lincoln
Vehicle
1990 Chrysler Imperial 4 Dr STD Sedan
Review
This is a distinctive ride. It looks and acts different than competitive autos. I've driven Lincolns and Caddys. The Imperial has a different 'feel' altogether. It starts with distinctive looks but goes beyond that. A great old car and probably the best buy for the dollar in its field.
Favorite Features
I love the styling of this car! It carries itself with distinction.
Suggested Improvements
The only complaint I have is that the engine could be bigger. But then, it gets better mileage than its competitors as a result.
