At 92,000 miles my 2000 Concorde LX developed uneven tire wear. Rick Hendrick, Charleston, SC dealership service then made the problem worse by damaging the steering rack while replacing all the bushings for over $1200. I have a 2004 Concorde and I am experiencing the same issue with trying to start and it not starting. Then it starts like there were no issues. Has anyone been able to verify the cause and cure? roger_vaughn at hotmail dot com

I have heard that when the new LX cars that come out in 2004. They will have rear wheel drive, V6 or (maybe) Hemi V8, and use Mercedes-Benz parts (transmission, suspension, etc.). The Chrysler variant will NOT be called Concorde. Chrysler wants to give it a new name because the next car will be much different than the current car, so it deserves a new name. I was very surprised to read in Thursday Arizona Republic daily newspaper that the cab forward design will be discontinued in both the dodge Intrepid and Chrysler Concorde by the 2004 model year. The replacement cars...known as the next generation Chryslers will have rear wheel drive.
