Re: 1995 Chrysler Cirruht LXI - Engine Stall [rgorsky]
Have you been able to get any more answers to your car problem. I have a 95 as well and I've recently ran into similar problems. My car will start, but up until 40 mph it's been choking like it's going to stall out on me. I've had three different mechanics look at it and since the diagnostic tests aren't returning any codes, they don't know what to do. IF ANYONE CAN HELP, ... Read More...

We spent thousands of dollars on this car and it drove like a dream up until the morning it just quit running at 3 am while my husband was coming home from work. At 3 am I had to get out of ... 1995 Chrysler Cirrus RPM problems
Have had relatively few problems until several weeks ago when the car would almost stall at stop lights. Putting it in neutal would help. But while driving 65 MPH on the interstate, the car jumped forward without warning. Took it to the repair shop and had the distributor replaced for nearly $900 including labor. Car is still exhibiting the same tendencies...RPM's ... Read More...
Watch out for your transmission
My car is a 1995 Cirrus. I just recently had to replace my trans replaced and the rear. My tranny Guy said this has been a problem for Chrysler, but there is no recall. The problem is, that when the retaining pin in the carrier snaps and the pin that holds the spider gears together falls out and boom like my rear. The problem was corrected years later he told me. My car ... Read More...
Re: 1995 Cirrus revving to over 6000rpm at >50 mph [sheila6]
I had a Cirrus the first year it was made- 1995, LXi- with the V6. The first time I test drove the vehicle I knew I needed to have it. The suspension was firm, the handling tight, the V6 had adequate power to pull strongly through the gears, the Infinity Sound system was decent. The first day out of the dealership, I took the car to my uncle's home, he warned me about Chryslers, ... Read More...
