Let me know what they quote you for an extended warranty. I purchased a 2006 300 - 3.5 Touring w/Limited Package. I'm at 69.3__k mileage. I purchased an extended warranty in 2007 for $1,879.00 to 70K w/ a ZERO deductible. Since then I have the rack and pinions replaced and a sensor. Covered by warranty. My car runs extremely well. I have not had any scheduled maintenance as recommended by my ... Read More

We own a 2007 300 Touring with only 55,000 miles on it that has started having transmission problems. It is really funny the way it acts up. It acts as if it just can't decide which gear to change into, so it just goes into neutral. The condition is brought on under one of 2 types of driving conditions. One if driving up a steep grade in a lane of traffic ... Read More

I have a 2007 300 Touring with 3.5engine and 4speed auto. Just recently, in the cold, sometimes the engines revs up and down erratically for about 40 seconds. Also when cold, a desire to NOT shift gears. Today for the first time, I put the car into reverse......and it didn't. After putting into Drive and Back into Reverse, it was fine. I have 57,000 miles, and live in Ontario Canada. Jay ... Read More

Hi JM. Chrysler Financial's money factors do often vary by region. I haven't seen its specific money factors for your area, but for the areas outside the Northeast that I have seen Chrysler Financial's buy rate for a 36 month lease of a 2007 Chrysler 300 base is currently .00328. The factor for a 36 month lease of a 300 Touring outside of the Northeast is .00254. Chrysler Financial's residual values ... Read More

Here's the information that you're looking for, jgreenberg. In your area (DaimlerChrysler's Northeast region), Chrysler Financial's current buy rate lease money factor and residual value for a 36 month lease of a 2007 Chrysler 300 Touring with 12,000 miles per year are .00195 and 53%, respectively. When negotiating your lease on this car, make sure to take advantage of the $2,000 lease cash and $500 bonus cash ($2,500 total) that is ... Read More

Hi alinagm1. This car's lease payment will depend upon what sort of selling price you are able to negotiate on it. I personally would shoot for $500 over dealer invoice on a 2007 Chrysler 300 right now. When the $2,500 lease cash that is currently available on the 2007 Chrysler 300C it taken into account that puts you at around $2,000 under invoice. You can look up this car's dealer invoice ... Hi jcee2. This car's lease program varies by term and mileage allowance. For now I will assume that you are interested in a 36 month lease with 15,000 miles per year. Let me know if you want something different. Chrysler Financial's current buy rate lease money factor and residual value for a 36 month lease of a 2007 Chrysler 300 Limited AWD with 15,000 miles per year in your area are ... Read More

Xtec-- This is what gets me tho', your Charger "does not have the problem" and that is the crux of this whole issue where the dealerships and Chrysler make with the "WHAT problem?" thing when it comes to the 300 series vehicles yet it was THEY who issued the 2005 TSB! On my first rear-wheel V6 300 T, I had the "shim and bolt kit" performed and the problem remained although ... Read More

Well, one thing about public forums, all kinds of responses begin to come in, some public and others via email [I've commented on this issue elsewhere as well] and much is learned ... with excellent references and, more importantly, professional automotive engineering citations to boot! For example, most roads de facto have slight inclines in order to avoid water pooling and thus provide water run-off if you will while preserving the ... Read More

The thing of it is, it shouldn't be that way! If ==all== vehicles had that right pulling propensity ==or== there was a known propensity for this pull right situation of so-called "crown sensitive" or, as you put it, "hyper-sensitive front end" between front wheel drive vehicles and rear or AWD vehicles, well, that's one thing, but this does not show up as a general axiom with other vehicles. It is, IMO, ... Read More

AGAIN with the "crown sensitive" crutch/gambit!
Written by: doctony on Mar 27, 2007 11:56:38 AM
My last post in this forum was in July of 2004 and I commented on the "crown sensitive" issue for the 2005 Chrysler 300 series which in effect 'translated' to the vehicle chronically pulling to the right! I got so tired of repeatedly trying to get the problem corrected and receiving a constant dealership litany that the 300 model series is "crown sensitive" [read: pulls right] as allegedly "normal" [!?] that ...
