Re: 2006 Chrysler 300 Touring: Many problem [smithed]
My front end issues started at 48K miles. I now have 72K miles and the left wheel bearing needed to be replaced again. Had it done last june with 56K miles on the car. My left front tie was repaired in feb of 08 and also had to be replaced in June of 08. Had the right tie replaced in June 08, so far, ok. Another point I would like to mention is that my dealer is having problems ... Read More...
Re: 2006 Chrysler 300 Touring: Many problem [majesterludi]
How many miles have you driven it? Tie rod ends and wheel bearings can be wear issues. My 2006 has 53000 miles and none of those problems have come up. Read More...

My daily driver is a 2006 300 Touring. I have owned it four years and have had many problems, especially with the front tie rods, wheel bearings etc, Even after replacing, the problems continue. So far, my dealer has been pretty good about repairing the issues under warranty. However, in some cases they split the cost with me. Most recently, they charged me a nominal ... Read More...

Re: What about 2009 300 C? [warrior_pr]
I have seen a photograph of a 2009 300C Heritage Edition and it is spectacular! One thing different: The Chrysler wing on the trunk looks wider and it has the red, white and blue Heritage Edition badge in the center of it. They also have LED turn indicators on the mirrors and puddle lamps. The rear spoiler is molded into the trunk lid and the rear deck brake light is ... Read More...
bias
Somehow there is immediate bias to lump everything that Chrysler has done wrong and therefore everything they have done is considered wrong. All the manufacturers make mistakes, every single one. And all have had hits. For Chrysler the hits have been the minivans, 300, Ram, nearly all the Jeeps and there may be others. Where they haven't been able to come up with ... Read More...
Chrysler 300 or Nissan Maxima?
Re: Chrysler 300 or Nissan Maxima? [retroeric]
My viewpoint may not be that helpfull because I've never driven the newest addition of the Maxima. But I have owned a 1997 Maxima for many years and a couple of years ago I spent a week in Florida driving a rented 2006 Chrysler 300 touring edition so I can make a comparison between these two cars. I enjoyed the Chrysler very much. It had the 3.5 litre 250 hp V6 [250 lb ft ... Read More...
