I purchased a 2006 300 Limited because all brochures listed it with 5 speed transmission. When I took it back for service I was told that it had a four speed Tranny.I called chrysler and the best they could do was give me and= extended warranty.I think they used false information and wouldn't stand behind the customer against the dealer. The salesman told me they didn't have a 4 speed tranny ... Read More

Mid-grade 89 octane. Tried premium and thought I was getting slightly better mileage. But have concluded it's more a function of the brand of gas (and outside temp and tire pressure....).

Xtec-- This is what gets me tho', your Charger "does not have the problem" and that is the crux of this whole issue where the dealerships and Chrysler make with the "WHAT problem?" thing when it comes to the 300 series vehicles yet it was THEY who issued the 2005 TSB! On my first rear-wheel V6 300 T, I had the "shim and bolt kit" performed and the problem remained although ... Read More

Well, one thing about public forums, all kinds of responses begin to come in, some public and others via email [I've commented on this issue elsewhere as well] and much is learned ... with excellent references and, more importantly, professional automotive engineering citations to boot! For example, most roads de facto have slight inclines in order to avoid water pooling and thus provide water run-off if you will while preserving the ... Read More

The thing of it is, it shouldn't be that way! If ==all== vehicles had that right pulling propensity ==or== there was a known propensity for this pull right situation of so-called "crown sensitive" or, as you put it, "hyper-sensitive front end" between front wheel drive vehicles and rear or AWD vehicles, well, that's one thing, but this does not show up as a general axiom with other vehicles. Let me know if you want something different. Chrysler Financial's current buy rate lease money factor and residual value for a 36 month lease of a 2006 Chrysler 300 SRT-8 with 15,000 miles per year are .00163 and 55%, ... Read More

Hi kdckurt. A base 2006 Chrysler 300C has a spread of just over $2,600 between its full MSRP and dealer invoice price. After this vehicle's cash incentives are taken into account, you are being given a discount of $1,988. This is around $600 over invoice, which isn't bad but might be able to be neaten by a few hundred dollars this late in the model year if you are in an ... Read More

Through November 30th, it was also providing an additional $1,000 cash incentive on units that have been in dealer inventory since April 1st or earlier. You're right, mrdrifty. The money factor that you were quoted looks about right to me, but for some reason the residual value that you were told is too low. This is interesting because individual dealers do not have the authority to alter banks' residual values. Is the capitalized cost that you were quoted, $32,380, before the subtraction of the $3,000 in cash incentives or does this number already take the three grand into account? I ask because if this is before the cash is taken into account, it is a pretty good price, if not then it is a terrible price. Now let's take ... Read More
