2004 Chevrolet Venture Plus Fwd 4dr Ext Minivan (3.4L 6cyl 4A)

Review

This is my second Venture van. The
first was totalled when it was rear
ended at 50-60 MPH while I was stopped
waiting for a traffic light. There was
no choice for a replacement van except
for the color-the dealer had about 90
Ventures in stock. I have toured the
country with my first van. It had 77,000
miles on it when totalled and my
present van has 38,000 trouble free
miles. I don't understand the poor
rating and comments you gave it. What
are "coarse engine characteristics?"

Best Features

Seating versatility, the built-in child seat, good engine performance, style, the "must have" cup holders. I like the entire van.

Worst Features

Have two 12 volt dashboard mounted power outlets.

2004 Chevrolet Venture Plus Fwd 4dr Ext Minivan (3.4L 6cyl 4A)

Review

This vehicle was a gift to me for my
fortieth birthday. The features in my
Venture are exactly what I was looking
for. Lots of room and storage.
comfortable seats. The only thing that
I have to get used to is if the
interior lights are on in the evening
the reflection is right in the rearview
mirror and very hard to see. Other
than that I am very pleased with my
Venture. The person who got this gift
for me had looked at minivans for six
months and out of the dozens that they
test drove and examined this one was
their pick.
Liked the feature of the air filter. I
had not heard of this in a van, but
think this will help keep the freshness
of the van. Also will help my son with
asthma.

Best Features

The amount of room for storage and seating. This model has three middle seats so my van seats 8. This is very important to me for I have a large family. Smooth ride.

Worst Features

Like I mentioned above the only thing I had some trouble with was seeing out the rearview mirror at night if the interior lights come on, due to the reflection of the lights in the mirror. had rented an Impala and the lights were underneath the mirror and this did not happen for me in that car.

Review

Van drivability is extremely well
durring the winter, thanks to the
active AWD. The gas milage is also
better than my former van, Mazda MPV.
Ride is smooth and engine comes to life
when entering highway speeds.

AWD DVD Player XM Radio Air Compressor Dual Powered Doors 8 Pass. Seating Rear Parking Assist

2004 Chevrolet Venture LS Fwd 4dr Ext Minivan (3.4L 6cyl 4A)

Review

We bought our car when it was a year
old, but it is still great. I was
looking at Chryslers and Dodges, but
once I drove this, I was definitely
sold over those models.

Best Features

Worst Features

More configurations for integreated child seats.

single repair or had to take back to
dealer.
