2001 Chevrolet Venture Plus 4dr Minivan (3.4L 6cyl 4A)
As a previous Dodge Caravan owner, I'm happy with the Venture, and find it as good a vehicle as I might have expected from Chrysler. Gas Mileage is good, it has a solid feel, is peppy enough for a minivan, and has a good ride and a good turning radius.
It has the standard 3.4 litre, six cylinder engine and automatic transmission.
Peppy for a minivan. The fourth door quickly becomes a necessity. Gas mileage is never below 20, and is around 25 on the highway. Rear row of seats folds forward to create nice cargo carrying area. Turning radius is better than some.
Can't read transmission selector in direct sunlight. Hard to install rear row of seats. Battery replacement looks difficult. Metalized windshield blocks reception of my GPS receiver, as well as my automatic toll-paying device.
