2000 Chevrolet Venture Plus 4dr Minivan

Review

Being a stay-at-home mom with two little ones, this was the perfect car to buy for the price. It drives well and has lots of room for our family, the dog and all of our stuff. We like the exterior with it's sporty design. This car also has good power.

Best Features

We love the folding seats in the back to provide more trunk room. We feel this caravan is much more accessible than an SUV. Wonderful car!!!

Worst Features

This car is not that great on gas (but I suppose most caravans use alot of gas). I would recommend buying GM's extended warranty if you are buying this Venture used. We bought it and we needed to use it for the sending unit for the fuel tank. They fixed it for free!!

Review

After 3 years and 40000 miles I had engine oil sprayed all over the motor compartment. As it appeared, it was upper/lower intake leaking, also engine coolant was leaking. Mechanic said it was very common. And the warranty has just expired... Other miscelanous defects include: rear hatch handle broken, battery leaking - acid corroded the paint inside, rear wiper broken once.

Best Features

Soft, float - like, highway driving.

Worst Features

Better quality!!!
