I have a 2008 Chevy Trailblazer, LTZ. I tried to unlock the car doors with the key fob, and the alarm went off. When I pressed the unlock button again, the alarm continued to go off. I then tried pressing the locked button but the alarm continued to go off. I then unlocked the car with the key and started the car up, but the alarm kept going off. I then ... Read More

I decided to buy my 2005 Trailblazer used in 2008 to replace my 1995 Jeep that had over 250K miles on it. Now I wish I had opted for another Jeep. Nothing but trouble and expense, most all of the problems listed on these forums. I have been driving it since 2009 with no working speedometer, tachometer, and in the past 6 months no oil pressure gauge. I have the electrical ... Read More

I've owned two vehicles from Detroit (or Mexico, Canada, wherever it is that they build cars now). One was a 2000 Jeep Cherokee that was a great vehicle. A person rearended me and totalled the car. I bought a 2005 Trailblazer LS used with 55k miles on it in 2008. I felt like we got a good deal on it at the time, and I bought it against advisement from some ... Read More
Back in October 2008, I received a letter to make me aware of an issue with some 2004 Chevy Trailblazers in certain states (CT, Del, DC, Ill, Ind, Iowa, Maine, Mryld, Mass, Mich, Minn, Miss, NH, NJ, NY, Ohio, Pa, RI, VT. WV, Wis). "Corrosion may cause small perforations with fuel tank modular reservoir assembly. Perforations may allow small amount of fuel to accumulate in a recessed area outside of the ... Read More

We had a 2008 Uplander which on a few trips to the Gulf Coast got 18MPG pulling our motorcycle trailer. We had a 27 foot motor home which we didn't use much due to getting only 8-9 MPG. We sold our RV and bought the smallest toy hauler we could find, a new Coachmen 15 foot Blast which weighs 3400 pounds. Even though the Blast was within the 3500 # capacity ... Read More

My 2007 Chevrolet Trailblazer LS gas gauge read empty and the light came on right after I filled up and a few minutes later started bouncing back and forward. This put into a panic because I only had my Trailblazer a year what happen next lead me to call the dealership. My engine light came on and my 07 trailblazer sounded like it was idled up when I drove. I took ... Read More

Mark, You'll have to pardon GM, as they continue to try to adjust their pricing to reduce the amount of incentives, and get their pricing closer to "real-world" levels. It is GM and not the dealer that is fooling around with the prices. The sticker readjustment is something GM did, not the dealer. Now, there is a way to eliminate all of the "what's my price" stuff going on... that is, ... Read More

Just FYI: reliable inside sources on other boards are saying these pics are not the next Envoy, but rather the 2008 GMC Acadia, which is on GM's new FWD/AWD Lambda platform, which will also spawn the 2007 Saturn Outlook, 2008 Buick Rendezvous and maybe a new generation of 2009 minivans to replace the current U-body vans. Word is that the major redo of the Envoy has been canned. -Andrew L
The 2008 TrailBlazer and Envoy ...are a bit larger with room for an optional third row of seats" Not a good thing IMO ...Any bigger and I would not have bought the 2002 I have. Already plenty large enough for a mid-size SUV. A new five-speed automatic transmission is offered. What the 2002s should have had from the get-go. The Chevrolet SSR, the retro-looking truck-sports car that has sold poorly, has ... Read More
