Just decent
Vehicle
2006 Chevrolet TrailBlazer LS 4dr SUV 4WD (4.2L 6cyl 4A)
Review
After two years, this truck has proven dependable and still in good shape. We drive it off road regularly because we live off road, and it hasn't yet developed squeaks or rattles. 6 cyl engine provides enough power to pull a trailer and averages 17 mpg for combined use. Problems after 33,000 miles: passenger window sometimes sticks, rear window washer hose lose, read door gasket sags. Overall, meets our expectations.
Favorite Features
Roominess, ride, 4wd and Stabilitrack, simple and separate air controls.
Suggested Improvements
5 speed transmission, center console design.

I purchased this SUV last year and thus far it has been a good investment. I love GM products and will continue to buy them. This is the most comfortable auto ever! There is plenty of leg room for us tall people and 5 passenagers can sit comfortably in this SUM, unlike my GMC Jimmy. Keep up the good work GM!
Favorite Features
Easy steering, comfortable ride, onstar features, plenty of room for passenagers, good horsepower, and ease of parking. Joy to drive.
Suggested Improvements
The only thing I would like to see improved in future models is the gas mileage. For a rather large SUV I suppose it gets fair gas mileage-- about 21mpg.

Last GM Ever in my life
Vehicle
2006 Chevrolet TrailBlazer LT 4dr SUV 4WD (4.2L 6cyl 4A)
Review
I was forced to purchase this vehicle due to company policy. It is the poorest built vehicle I have every bought & The transfer case failed at 60700 km. (700 km past any warranty coverage) GM laughed at me when i suggested they should fix it for free. I would recommend buying anything but a Trailblazer. At 65000 km this thing is falling apart.

After Warranty Problems
Vehicle
2006 Chevrolet TrailBlazer LT 4dr SUV (4.2L 6cyl 4A)
Review
Although my TrailBlazer is excellent for the transporting of my family, 7 of us in all. I have 59,000 miles on my vehicle. In one month the camshaft sensor went bad, the fuel guage does not work, the rear air unit only pumps cold air and I am beginning to feel a transmission stutter. I am scared to death I bought a lemon. Initially, I was well pleased with this car. Warning for families although on the EXT you have a third row. It is extremely difficult to enter and exit the vehicle. I will not buy another Chevy, ever!
Favorite Features
All seats behind the driver and passenger retract.
Suggested Improvements
More reliability with engine components and other features.

My Chevy
Vehicle
2006 Chevrolet TrailBlazer LS 4dr SUV (4.2L 6cyl 4A)
Review
I really enjoy driving my Chevy Trailblazer. It has pep with 290 horsepower and handles well. Easy to park, and I get decent gas mileage for an SUV. Plenty of room for groceries or luggage, etc in the back which is great for trips. This is my first SUV and I would definitely recommend the Chevy Trailblazer!
Favorite Features
Horsepower, handling, ease of parking, comfortable seats, plenty of room in the back. Fun to drive.
Suggested Improvements
Seat belt adjusters for short people (I am 5 foot tall) and the seat belt hits at my neck.

Horrible Electrical system
Vehicle
2006 Chevrolet TrailBlazer LS 4dr SUV (4.2L 6cyl 4A)
Review
This vehicle has been in the repair shop for electrical problems 2 times, with only 5600 miles this annoying. The 291 horsepower rating, i think is wrong, more like 200 hp. Gas mileage is 12-14 city and 18-20 highway. Off the line acceleration is horrible, from 0- 40 feels like a go-kart, once you are past 40 mph acceleration is awesome. A Geo Metro can beat this vehicle off the line. Transmission is ok, but I think a 5 or 6 speed would improve performance and gas mileage. G80 rear locking differential is awesome, with this no need for 4wd. Wind noise is horrible at highway speeds, sounds like a window is open. Turning circle is great, better than most cars. Stability control is excellent.
Favorite Features
Stability control,G80 rear locking differential, turning circle, and exterior looks. Luggage capacity is great. OnStar. Full size spare tire.
Suggested Improvements
Better electrical system, more accurate horsepower ratings, in city driving acceleration is far beyond horrible! Better gas mileage for an engine this weak! Back seat seems to close to the front seats. Make room for 3 car seats in the back, only 2 can fit. Sound system horrible. Better cupholders.

Trailblazer SS Love
Vehicle
2006 Chevrolet TrailBlazer LT 4dr SUV (4.2L 6cyl 4A)
Review
Love the way it drives and handles, very sporty yet classy at the same time. Turns a lot of heads. No one expects it to turn and burn. Total sleeper, you just can't beat the LS2 Motor in a mid size SUV.
Favorite Features
The 395 hp LS2 Corvette V8
Suggested Improvements
Strengthen some of the interior plastic and work a little more on the rubber seals, at speed they make noise sometimes.

Trailblazer LT
Vehicle
2006 Chevrolet TrailBlazer LT 4dr SUV 4WD (4.2L 6cyl 4A)
Review
This SUV is fun to drive and handles great. The mileage stinks. It gets around 15 mpg so it seems like I am always at the gas pump. The interior design is cheap looking.iI would be nice to have the wood trim like GMC and the new 2007 Chevy Tahoes and Suburbans have. The build quality is poor. It sounds like the windows are down when they are all up and about a month ago the it got stuck in drive and would not move to R or P(park)so that wasnt good. The sound system is good but it makes everything shake/rattle when the bass is on. Other than that this SUV is a good buy!
Favorite Features
Exterior design, heated seats, leather

So disappointed in gas mileage
Vehicle
2006 Chevrolet TrailBlazer LT 4dr SUV 4WD (4.2L 6cyl 4A)
Review
The overall look is nice, but the back seat is way too close to the front seat. The gas mileage is horrible. The truck handles well in the snow. The back hatch should close with an automatic button, it's too heavy shutting it on your own. They cheaped out on that feature.
Favorite Features
The truck is comfortable to drive.
Suggested Improvements
Move back seat back some. Automatic back hatch to open and close. Improve gas mileage , way way way unacceptable, doesnt get the 14 to 16 they said, 11 miles a gallon is shameful!
