I have an 04 TB Ext. Love it. The wind noise was a problem, but I solved that by adding window seal tape around the door frames. I would have had a dealer do it, but they wanted me to come back in a month. I also had to bring the truck in to have the turn signals repaired. Other than that, no problems what so ever. The TB has a ... Read More

Todd: I have an 03 Envoy that had the same problem. The dealer tried to tell me that it was a leaky windshield so it was resealed. When it rained the next day, the carpet was soaked again. I found a Technical Service Bulletin addressing the exact problem. It involves resealing some screws at the "A" pillar. The inside molding has to be taken out. Once I convinced them to pull ... I just traded my 2002 TrailBlazer LS in for a 2005 LT. The list price was $34,935 and it has the sun and sound package with running boards, leather, sunroof, and a Bose 6 cd changer with XM radio. The GM discount price was $28,500 and displayed on the windshield. It also had a $2500 rebate. I owed $14,500 for my old TB and they gave me $16,500 for it. It ... Read More
Hi all, I'm a proud owner of a 2005 Chevy Trailblazer LT (ya with the nav system) and it's been a damn reliable vehicle. Well I guess it will be for now, I had a 03 Chevy astro van and out of 8 times I got home from the airport, it broke down 4 times (once it wouldn't start, another time it crapped out on the freeway, etc, etc) I love ... membered, You sound extremely frustrated and rightly so. I don't think anyone would expect a 5 day old vehicle to have an engine crap out. If GM agreed to buy back your trailblazer, you should consider yourself somewhat fortunate. Take a look at the "GM losing millions can they recover" forum. There are many out there who have had similiar problems with their GM products only to be left without any ... Read More
I am looking to buy a 2005 Chevy Trailblazer. I have already secured financing through my credit union at 4.99%. Today at a dealership, the salesman said that if I do a GMAC Smartbuy that I can get an additional $2500 off of my purchase price. He said that since I really want finance through a regular loan that I could turn around after I make my first Smartbuy payment and ... Read More
I have a 2005 Trailblazer. As you all know, the GM triplets come with the in-the-seat front seat belts. I find this setup very uncomfortable, with the seat belt pulling on my shoulder and collarbone. Does any one know if there are parts one can easily install, maybe on the headrest, to raise the belt and ease it's tension on my shoulder? Or maybe a taller plastic retainer part from which ... To boost sales, GM is once again cutting prices. They are now offering employee pricing on all vehicles except the Corvette and GMC medium duty trucks. So, for those of you who have been wanting to buy a new Chevrolet Trailblazer/GMC Envoy, here is your chance. They are also offering incentives on top of that. I have a couple thoughts on this and I hope it pays off for GM, but ... Read More

I just bought a 2005 Trailblazer LS last weekend. I didn't really want to pay for a lot of bells and whistles, trying to keep my payments low, so I stuck with a base model with cruise control and On Star which every TB I looked at seemed to have for '05 and a trailer hitch receiver. I got a GMS discount from a friend who works at the GM plant ... Read More
