The vehicle handles very well, extremely quiet inside. Great comfortable smooth ride.
Favorite Features
DVD, XM radio, steering wheel controls.

The controls for heating and air conditioning are very confusing. You have to press the AC button until it states AC off which seems a little backwards to me, it should indicate AC on. Other than that I can see no other improvements that I would suggest.
Ok when not in shop

Overall I've had a pretty decent experience with my trailblazer other than when it has been in the shop to fix recall problems. Other than the recall things, I haven't had any trouble with it. It has a very nice and comfortable design for travel or family. It has a lot of room in it. I use it to pack up our group's sound equipment which there is a lot of and I can tote all of that in the back plus the 5 of us in the front comfortably.
Favorite Features
the room, features, stereo
Suggested Improvements
fix all the recall stuff and it should be fine
Love it!

I have only had this vehicle a little over a month and am loving it. I traded in a 1997 S-10 Blazer that I had for over 6 years so this feels like a luxury car.
Favorite Features
The 275 hp engine (had a 195 hp prior). I can feel the tickets coming.
Suggested Improvements
Front cupholders need some reworking.

My Trailblazer LT has had no problems what so ever and I have 10,800 miles on it thus far. I chose this vehicle over the full sized rigs because of the I6 engine. This engine has a wide torque band and a 275 ft/lb of torque. I ordered mine with the 4.10 ratio rear axle to give me 6200 lbs. of towing capacity. The I6 engine is very smooth running and fun to drive.

I have had this vehicle for a little less than a year now, and have taken it on several trips from Georgia to Maine. What an awesome truck! Ride is smooth, horsepower rocks, and gas mileage (highway) is great. I have had two problems: A/C pressure switch died after a month (quickly repaired; no further problems), and DS window motor quit (also fixed expeditiously). Only thing I wish I had is the auto-adjusting drivers seat. With a teenager learning to drive, it's a pain to readjust the power seats. Loved my '97 Silverado, and foresee a long, enjoyable relationship with this one as well!
Favorite Features
Steering wheel controls; auto-on/off lights; acceleration
Suggested Improvements
Emergency brake pedal instead of lever; bring front two cup holders back a few inches so they can actually hold a full-sized cup; differentiate front and rear window buttons on driver's door

At the moment, I have a total of 4500 miles. Still rather new. The V8 is getting better than expected mileage. Better than my 98 Blazer w/ the V6! I'm mostly around town in stop & go & I have every option on the thing so weight plays a factor. Avg. 14+ easily. Fit & finish is typical G.M- 'nuff said. But is holding up well, so far. Smoooth V8 & ride from the EXT model. Quiet too. Great Bose system. Nice features w/ NorthFace! I would be jhappy to assist anyone interested who is concidering one of these vehicles!!!
Favorite Features
NorthFace Edition features!!!! V8 power. Standard towing Pkg w/ plug. Turn Signals on mirrors. Bose radio! Rear cargo hole in floor. Overall look of vehicle is nice! 2-tone paint. Flip out rear side windows. Cup holders a plenty. Locking glove box. On-Star. Drivers Info. Center.
Suggested Improvements
5spd auto, displacement on demand motor, weight loss. These 3 things would greatly aid MPG! Rear seats that can move forward & back on tracks 4 added leg room or cargo room. Amber lense in taillights. Under hood light! Rear heat/Air that works! Quality/reliability.

Engine is unbelievably smooth. Power seems endless throughout the RPM range. Rides smooth as silk. Wish we would have opted for the DVD player, too bad you cannot get DVD AND sunroof. I am 6'3", my wife is nearly 6'. Neither of us have trouble getting comfortable in any of the seats (including 3rd row). Overall this is the most pleasant and comfortable vehicle we have owned.
Favorite Features
6 disc in dash Bose stereo, heated seats, tumbling middle seat, fold flat rear seat. 17" wheels and tires. Personalized entry features remembered in keyless entry like, seat position, radio stations, climate control, etc.
Suggested Improvements
Some interior components made cheaply like dash materials, easily mark.
03 Trailblazer -- Great Ride

Review
Great highway ride!!! Wintertime fuel MPG of 14-15...MPG in summer is 16 around town and 18+ on highway. Had to have a sensor in the A/C replaced within first 5000 miles...no questions - fixed - FANTASTIC. This truck replaced a 94 Toyota 4-Runner(232k miles), unless something drastic happens I will get another Trailblazer to replace this one. Only complaints are poor body seal around license plate housing on lift gate (will need to be replaced), trailblazer door emblem fell off, and wind noise from passenger side front door when on highway in cross-wind.
Favorite Features
Great Ride!!! Towing is fantastic (antique Chris Craft). Interior comfort (front) is best in class & I'm 6'6" tall (can't even get in a Ford Exploder).
Suggested Improvements
Rear seat leg room and trim fit/finish.
