I've had dozens of vehicles in my life and my Trailblazer, knock on wood, has been the most reliable so far. The ride is fantastic and smoother than any other SUV out there (and trust me...I looked at everything out there prior to purchasing). I was all set to get a full size SUV like a Tahoe, but my wife really liked the Trailblazer's size, not too big and not too small. Not having a third seat (I opted not to go for the extended length version because I thought the looks were less appealing) will probably disuade some buyers but I really didn't have a need for it. My only complaint is that it doesn't get 30 mpg, but then no SUV does. Let's see if I am still happy 2-3 years from now.

I have own mind for three years. It has the V8, and it does get up and go. But it's been in the shop for things like two new transmisions, still giving me trouble as I write this. Several air conditioning problems since new, and finally last year it ate it self up and they had to replace the whole air conditioner, including all the belts. Right now I have a light on the dash telling me according to the dealer that I have to pay $350 for them to tell me why? I purchase the added protection just about everything they wanted me to purchase, now it's all ran out! Before the warranty ran out I was protected. What do I do now since the dealer told me that the air bags aren't working?

Bought a new one in 2001 (one of the first ones on the road). Traded it in and regretted it ever since. Finally got back into a Trailblazer. I've had them all - Durango, Passport, Grand Cherokee, Land Rover. I enjoy the Trailblazer far better than any of them! Gas mileage is fine. (18.9 avg.) What do you expect from an SUV? Much better than the Durango gas hog!

This car has been reliable and is extremely comfortable. I bought it used over a year ago and have not had one problem. I have been very pleased with the purchase. There is a little road noise and if I do not get the gas cao on tight enough, the Service Engine light comes on. Other than that, it is a great vehicle.

I bought this vehicle a month ago, upgrading from a 2002 Chevy Prism with only 33K. Main reason for purchase was 1)bored with Prism 2) sick of stepping up to get out of the car (I am 5'6 and always wear heels) 3) more substantial vehicle in size, weight, etc. 4) 4WD However, my car payment increased by $125 (my own fault, maybe I was a bit hasty) and gas mileage is very poor. Also something I tried to kid myself about, so for an SUV the gas issue is to be expected. If I was not in such a rush to buy a different vehicle, I would've gone with something like the Mazda3 Hatch or Subaru Forrester. It gives the hatch feature w/o the truck feel. I am enjoying the truck, but mostly cause I have to.

I purchased a LT Chevy Tralblazer 2003 4WD in May of 04. At the time it had 23000 miles on it. I am an outside salesman and so far as of today (March of 06) I have had the following problems. I had to have a new transmission put in it around 65,000 miles. The starter went out of around 70000, at this time I also found out that the fly wheel was cracked and it needed to be replaced. Also, around 30000 some sensor went out causing low engine power almost causing me an (several times)in high traffic. Its been recalled twice for back stop lights. If you need a reliable car and are considering a Chevy Trailblazer please THINK TWICE. Today I have 75K on it. What's next?

This is the wife's daily driver. It was a good combination of size, space and cost. Overall very reliable, the only issues we've had were known to GM : A/C sensor causing A/C to not function intermittently and reverse lamp not lighting intermittently. Both issues were addressed free of charge within warranty. In order to utilize fold-down seats, front seats must be pulled forward. This is a problem for me (6'1" tall), and basically makes that feature useless on long trips.

We purchased this vechile new and now have 80,000+ miles on it. Very reliable. Only repairs have been replacing bulbs (seems often). Expect to get another 100,000 out of it. Great to tow with.

Drives great especially the performance of the V-8! Love the styling of the exterior, the interior is average. The cloth seats are uncomfortable in front but 2nd row are fine. The Bose stereo is awsome. Weve had no major problems except the apparently common gas tank cracking (which should be recalled)covered by the extended warranty. We had a p.s. noise and the dealership replaced the rack and pinion? Belt squeak started at 25K(vehicle now has 60k).The belt, tensioner, water pump was replaced and then a belt cleaning?! I fixed it with a new belt last week! Fan clutch ticked for a year then quit.

I love mine. If I plan to trade for a new model in a year or two. There have been a few recalls though for minor stuff like the bumper and the molding around the door jams. Other than that it hasn't given me any problems or complaints. It drives excellent in the snow with AWD or 4WD (with the appropriate tires). My children have plenty of room in the back and we use it often to travel. Unlike the car I owned prior to the Trailblazer, there are no complaints from them either.
