2002 Chevrolet TrailBlazer LTZ 4WD 4dr SUV (4.2L 6cyl 4A)
Review
Don't let the looks of this car persuade you into buying it. This car devours gas and is far from being reliable. Atleast mine has continously given me transmission problems. It's interior is very roomy, but there are plenty of other SUV's with the same attribute and better quality.

I have had numerous warranty issues. I am on my third radio because the buttons are painted on with black paint. Very cheap looking interior. Would not recommend buying. Too much money for poor quality.
Favorite Features
heated seats, but I had to pay for them of course.
Suggested Improvements
Gas mileage, roomier back seat, new radio.

I liked the appearance, features, and ride (for an SUV) of this vehicle when I first bought it. Unfortunately, after two years (and 60K) of ownership, I'm ready to dump it. I had problems with the air conditioner shortly after the purchase, the housing for the tail lights makes them a hazard (every time you close the hatch, you have to check the lights to see if they've wiggled loose and need adjusting), the plastic cover on the drivers power-seat broke (and I'm not that heavy!).
Favorite Features
I think it's differentiated from the rest of the small SUVs available today by its smoother ride and OnStar.
Suggested Improvements
Put some money into QUALITY!!!! Either that or offer a 10 year 100K warranty... of course, based on my experience, GM would go out of business if they did that!
Lacks quality

I like to drive Tb. But it is poorly constructed. Bhe transmission has gone out twice in the first 40,ooo miles. It has an intermitent electical problem. One time the heater motor won't work. Restart, everything works(just like microsoft's fix for everything). The problem rotates; wipers, dashlights, radio. Rear lid crown blew off traveling on interstate; of course this happened at 38,000 miles. Chevrolet says sorry, no coverage
Favorite Features
Nice to drive. Chevrolet service was fine during warranty (but they offer only 36,000 coverage for a reason).
Suggested Improvements
MUST improve construction - I'm going back to foriegn cars.

After looking at and test driving every SUV out there, my number one selection was the 2002 Trail Blazer. This was right within my price range, has lots of buttons and extra features, and is one smooooooth ride!
Favorite Features
Leather seats, 6-cd changer, temperature controlled interior, and butt warmer.

I have had nothing but trouble out of my trailblazer. It is in the shop now for the 3rd time with transmission problems. The rear brake lights have never worked. I have replaced the bulbs 8 times now. I'm trading this piece of crap.

Since Novemeber 2001 I've had my T'Blazer in 21 times. First to go was the 4whd selector switch, then the oxygen sensor, then the 5 recalls, one of which was done last october and I got another card on yesterday! The gas gauge does not work anymore. I've had the front diff. seals fail.
