GM Customer Service has not responded to 3 separate inquiries from me. I own a 2001 Chevrolet Tracker purchased new... and impeccably serviced. I scheduled immediate service and my mechanic informed me that a part called a "crossmember" was entirely rusted through and could have actually fallen completely off while the ... Read More

Has anyone heard of disaster stories with the front end of the tracker? Thanks.

I just bought a new 2001 Chevy Tracker LT. Everything seems to be okay. No bad vibes or such. I do notice a slight sing in the 4wd shifter. If I engage 4wd the sing goes away. If I put slight pressure forward on the lever he noise gets louder. Has anyone else noticed this? I like to get some info before I take it back to the dealership. Thanks, Dave ... Read More

WWWOOOOWWWW I just drove 2001 Tracker LT. What a beauty! Seems like the shimming pulling and mishandling is gone. Drives much better than Zukini GV. Believe me ! Go to Chevy for test drive. Could be those 16"wheels are not all that good for it.
