    I am having a similar problem with my 2008 Chevrolet Tahoe. The front passenger side lock does not fully lock ever. I just noticed this last week. The warranty timed out in October but the vehicle only has 34500 miles on it. I strongly feel that this should be covered under the warranty.

    Add one more Tahoe to the list. 2009 Tahoe Z71 drivers door lock stopped working a few weeks ago (42k miles). Based on reviewing this forum, I haven't complained yet since I'm expecting all my other ones to fail soon and am not too keen on fixing something that is so obviously an issue with the part GM has supplied.

    I have a 2008 Chevy Tahoe and all four power locks have suddenly failed and the dealership here in Vermont, Hand Motors, wants to replace all four door actuators for $900. This seems outrageous for what seems to be a common problem. Is there any type of compensation for this cost?

    GM Support, I am having the same door lock issue as others in the forum. We have a 2008 Chev Suburban VIN:1GNFK16328J231961 and 3 out of 4 doors have now stopped working. We have 52,000 miles on the vehicle and we were told by Titus-Will Chevrolet (Parkland, WA) that the locks are no longer covered under warranty. Can you provide any help? Thanks, Marc

    having problems with door locks on 2008 Chevy Tahoe. Had one replaced 2 years ago when it was under warranty. 2 years later the replacement and the other rear door are not working.     I am having the same issues!! Looking into this forum - it should be a recall item. From a post date jul 08 it could be left dash fuse block. I plan on taking to dealer and asking if that is the issue with mine, i hope that helps you.

    tidester, I agree but the dealership checked for ather possible power drains on the battery. They also set the flashers on one of their 2008 Tahoes and that battery was dead after 45 minutes.

    There have been a couple dates for the hybred version. Currently its coming fall of 2007 as a 2008 model. Chevy hybred site Possibly another solution is the GMC Arcadia or Saturn Outlook. Both are 7 or 8 passanger SUVs, 3 rows of seating, AWD, fold flat seating, and around 25mpg highway. Its worth a look as an alternate to the truck based SUV. --jay
