    I am having a similar problem with my 2008 Chevrolet Tahoe. The front passenger side lock does not fully lock ever. I just noticed this last week. The warranty timed out in October but the vehicle only has 34500 miles on it. I strongly feel that this should be covered under the warranty.

    I had the same problem in my 2007 tahoe LTZ, it went on for almost a year and no on could figure it out. FINALLY my mechanic found that one of the motor mounts were broken. That fixed the problem. Have your mechanic check it.

    My problem is almost the same. The dealer probably knows what the problem is they just wont commit to the fix. Much the same as the speedo problem. Chevy wanted $900.00 for the cluster in my 2005 Surburban. I found a shop to replace the little motors. All 6 for $125.00 in about an hour and he came to me.

    My 2005 Suburban has ho power in the morning. I must remove the battery cable and reattach it and then it starts up. The battery and starter were replaced by chevy and this still happens almost every day. I could spend hundreds of $ and no one will do the work without an hourly estimate. Was yours fixed?

    Yes, you can use the remote to turn the screen back on. Point the remote directly at the screen and press the power button and it should come back on. Its kind of annoying but better than ejecting and reinserting the disc...I guess.

    Check to make sure the rear window isn't popped open. If the window is popped open (as in depressed the rear window pop with the keyfob), then that overrides and prevents the whole rear tailgate from electronically opening.     Be careful, suburban or yukon XL seats will not fit a tahoe. The floor pan is different due to the shorter wheelbase. Steve
