My problem is almost the same. The dealer probably knows what the problem is they just wont commit to the fix. Much the same as the speedo problem. Chevy wanted $900.00 for the cluster in my 2005 Surburban. I found a shop to replace the little motors. All 6 for $125.00 in about an hour and he came to me.

My 2005 Suburban has ho power in the morning. I must remove the battery cable and reattach it and then it starts up. The battery and starter were replaced by chevy and this still happens almost every day. I could spend hundreds of $ and no one will do the work without an hourly estimate. Was yours fixed?

I had a situation similar to what you described. In my case it turned out to be the button switched from 2 wheel drive into one of the 4 wheel drive settings. Hopefully, it is something simple. Best regards, Jeff

My wife drives this vehicle around town - no problems. Once up on the highway and around 55-60mph, the car bogs down. I can punch it and increase the speed. It almost seems like I'm loosing vacuum pressure or the tranny isn't kicking into overdrive. Any ideas or suggestions? Thanks.

The tab ahightower referred to is a cloth (or leather on LT) tab in the center of the crease of the bottom cushion where it meets the back cushion. Dig around a bit as it may have gotten pushed down between the two. Jim

The Tahoe appears to depreciate because of the wide margin between MSRP and Invoice for the Tahoe (about $6k). Edmunds assumes you bought at MSRP. I assume that you are taking about the current style Tahoe. Years 2000-2004. You can lower the front suspension some by removing tension on the torsion bars. You will have to replace the rear springs to lower the rear suspension. You will also probably have to replace the rear shock absorbers if your Tahoe has the manual self-leveling shocks or the autoride shocks. Most Tahoes have the manual self-leveling shocks. The ...
