    I have been Havin the exactly same starter stickin and grinding problem for 2 yrs now........at times it will go away for a few months but then return.. ive replaced ignition switches and relays..checked the starter...it all goes away for a while...but returns ...........my dash, ac control lights aswell as the speedometer lights are out too ........Any luck finding the problem?

    Not sure if this will be any use to anyone but I just wanted to mention that I too experienced the special GMC touch when my guages acted up. My vehicle was out of the covered repair limitations so I started to repair them myself.     carrie1v, Good job! Most people only have to replace the speedo stepper ($6+shipping), and most of the time the lights aren't involved. I did it in my shop, 4 solder joints for the speedo stepper only. You do want to be careful so you don't make things worse, but it is mostly common sense and care.

    Did you ever figure out what was wrong? My Tahoe passenger door lost all power, windows, locks and heated seats. The key fob stopped working at the same time. Also - when the truck is running and the door is open, it doesn't register on the dash. You can't open the window from the drivers side either. Basically - this door no longer exists.     I have a 2003 Chevy Tahoe. When I turn left or right while braking it will cut off. It doesn't do it all the time but did it twice this morning.     Suspect a faulty ignition switch, or a main power relay. With an intermittent problem like this, you may have to connect a test wire with a voltmeter to monitor a strategic voltage point.....to see if you can prove or disprove where the voltage may be dropping.

    I just had this fixed in my 2003, it was the modulator door, they switch from defront to vents or hot to cold etc. I had the same clicking but now its gone.

    Just ordered a new 2007 LTZ (loaded) to replace my 2004 LT, it is 4-6 weeks out, does any one have any real world mileage experience yet? How close is the window sticker 15 – 21 MPG. Are you running 87 – 89 – 93 octane ? Any electrical problems? Chevy had to buy my 2003 Tahoe back as they could not fix a no start problem in the computer.

    one more example. We bought our 2003 Tahoe for $28k its now at 38,000 miles used car web site has a nearly identical 03 Tahoe (37k miles) for $22,000. So in 3 years of owernship we have lost only $6k.

    They key there is you traded. The actual value of your Tahoe was higher. The dealer needs to make a profit. If you sold it private party I'll guess you would have only lost about $12,000.     The Tahoe appears to depreciate because of the wide margin between MSRP and Invoice for the Tahoe (about $6k). Edmunds assumes you bought at MSRP.
