2001 Tahoe paint colors
Written by: tahoe12lt on Aug 23, 2003 2:23:42 PM
I recently purchased a used 2001 Tahoe that is a dark green metallic color with tan/neutral leather interior. Wanting to know all the options this vehicle had, I sent my VIN to the Chevrolet Customer Assistance Center and they sent me back a list of build codes (same as the list in the glove box sticker) and descriptions. Everything made sense except the colors. They say 47U is Royal Blue Metallic ... Read More

GM Warranty

Is there such a thing as GM warranty?? I have a 2001 Tahoe with an extended warranty. At 10,000 miles the climate control failed...wouldn't warranty it. I had to replace the control myself. dealer claimed it worked fine before...it didn't. At 18.000 miles one of the electric windows only worked intermittantly, dealer recognized it but said they couldn't warranty the window until it failed completely. I ended up replacing the motor ... Sorry I did not mean to imply that the 2003 Tahoe was different than 2003 Yukon, just that it was different than the 2001 Yukon. The reason that I bought the Tahoe is strickly price. The chevy dealer offered me $800.00 more trade-in and $200.00 closer to invoice. The dealers were across the street from one another.
