2004 Chevrolet Suburban 1500 LS 4WD 4dr SUV (5.3L 8cyl 4A)
We bought our first Tahoe in 1996 and
have upgraded twice to better
Suburbans. One in 1997 and just
recently. The brakes have been a
problem in the past but now seem to
have that fixed in the newer Suburban.
That was the only thing I didn't like
about drivng the Suburban and Tahoe
were the unreliable brakes.
I really like the heated seats and
mirrors. Plus the bucket seats in the
back are very convient. The
lighter "tailgate" makes it nicer then
the barn doors, especially for
The "clanking" when you start the car
is very annoying and frustrating to buy
a brand new vehicle that makes such an
awful sound when you start it up in the
morning or whenever it sits awhile.
