Cormier Chevrolet could not find or fix the problem. This cost me 3 days of car rental plus their diagnosis labor charge. I took my Suburban to a local auto repair shop and within 1 day they determined that I had a defective battery, even though it was only 3 weeks old. I have a 2007 Chevy Suburban and have occasional discharge of my battery. I have had to have it jump about 3 times now Mechanic told me there a notice of some sort and that it requires my computer to be reprogramed Cost $85 they will work on it tomorrow. I will update then

Well I got my Suburban back. The Chevrolet Dealer said they tried but ultimately, no luck at all finding the electrical short. However, they jiggled some wire under the hood, said their meter spiked for a second. And the battery did not go dead anymore for the 4 days they had the truck. They were honest and did not charge me too much for the exploratory repairs.

That is EXACTLY what my Suburban did when I had the battery replaced. I took it to a GM dealership, really nice guy, explained to me that when you shut your car off the computer automatically goes to default. The default is Heat and Defrost. What many of the manufacturers have done, is set their body management computers to turn off power when the key is turned off....after some 'reasonable' period of time. I own a 2004 Suburban and I had three problems with my horn due to the contacts were not touching each other, so the dealer had to modify the contacts to touch each other..
Dynamax turbo mufflers. flowmaster performance without the flowmaster noise. Used them on my old 78 suburban 4x4 back in the day. It was quick off the line & not much louder than stock. Chevy engines dont like backpressure like some other brands' V8's do, so increasing the pipe diameter a little bit could be useful too. Hope that helps ya!

How did things turn out? Chevy recomends that I on the 2002 models that you don't mix fuels and they proport the 7/7 rule. Only switch fuels when the tank is empty, always put at least 7 gallons of fuel in the truck, and drive it for 7 miles without shutting it down. This allows the computer to re-adjust to the new fuel. The 2004 Yukon/XL/Tahoe/Suburban will all get the new pickup nose. 2003 models remain the same as the 2002. GMC and Chevy have different noses, and what you see on the '03 GMC Sierra is what will be on the '04 Yukon/XL, just like the '04 Tahoe/suburban will have the same nose as the '03 Silverado.
