2003 Chevrolet Suburban 1500 LS Rwd 4dr SUV (5.3L 8cyl 4A)
Bought the car because of what it
offers -- cargo capacity with ample
room left over in the trunk, which I
couldn't find in other comparable
vehicles. Not impressed with the
quality. Have had 2 transmissions
(within 20,000 miles). Still having
problems. Other minor irritations
exist. It's a great driving car for
long drives and we have enjoyed it for
that reason alone and piling up the
tents, coolers, baseball gear, kids,
etc. Strictly for that, I stick with
the car and do like it's styling. It's
a macho machine. I just wish our
ownership experience didn't include so
many trips to the dealership!
Styling is great. Cargo capacity is
second to none.
A transmission that doesn't go out at
13,000 would be a great improvement.
Chevrolet really needs to look into
this aspect especially as many of my
friends have had the same tranny
