I joined the forum just to chime in about my 2007 Chevy Tahoe. I've replaced all four door lock actuators at Champion Chevrolet in Reno for a cost of over $1000 two years ago, only to have three of them fail again within a year. I am *NOT* paying another $750 to replace them again only to have them fail again so I've been driving around with no automatic door locks ... Read More
At about 38,000 mile my suburban's driver door lock began to fail. I took it in to the dealer and discovered it was a $250 + repair. Shortly after that the drivers side passenger door began to fail and now all 4 doors are failing. So I am looking at about $1000.00 to repair all doors and it only has 42,000 miles on it. I am very disapointed in the craftsmanship ... Read More

In my case I confirmed the location of the problem by wiggle testing with the car running, in drive, and with someone in the vehicle with their foot ... Read More
The passanger window, door lock and mirror were not working on my 2003 Suburban and I replaced the Door Control Module (it cost $200.00) and it fixed the problem. I have quite a long story regarding the cluster problems with GM trucks. I took my 2003 Suburban to the dealer for oil changes after purchasing it in '05 with 38K miles. I figured so long as it read about +40 psi when running I was OK and ... Read More

I was once a proud owner of my 2003 Chevy Tahoe, but I started having problems with my gauges on my dash not working properly. start by unhooking both battery terminals for a few hours, then check if problem still persists. check all wiring. check all fuses. check for any open wires. check all bulbs, interior map light bulbs, door bulbs, all interior bulbs. check circuit breaker fuse. check auxilary battery/wiring relay. check intrument panel dimmer switch. check accessory power relay. check all grounds/straps. make sure all these things are in order, all relays plugged in ...
