2004 Chevrolet SSR 2dr Regular Cab Convertible LS Rwd SB (5.3L 8cyl 4A)
I bought this as a second car, but got rid of
my Mercedes CL500 after two weeks of
driving this SSR because it is so much fun. I
just didn't want to drive anything else.
EVERYONE seems to love this car. The
only problem, if you want to call it that, is that
it attracts an extraordinary amount of
attention everywhere you go, fun though.
Fun is what it is all about. As for the one
complaint... not enough power, (is there ever
enough ?) well I'm supercharging it next
week and that will bring it up to about 460
hp. That should help offset the 4700 lbs.
Drop dead good looks. Handels beautifully.
Leather. Comfortable. Good tunes. No
rattles. Great convertable top. Just feels
good. Chevy did a wonderful job here.
More power. Maybe a GPS, however I
bought the Magellan Road Mate 700 and I
like it better than the Mercedes or BMW
