Although the Silverado Classic HD is essentially the same as the 2006 model, it remains a solid contender among the heavy-duty trucks.

Stronger engine than the standard Silverado 1500.

Excellent seats and driving position, but smallish cabin. Ride is a bit harsher than a standard 1500.

Control layout is dated with too many buttons.

The interior design and execution are showing their age.
