Chevrolet Silverado Lease Questions

Re: 2008 Silverado lease [umbelwheat]

Here you go, Jon. GMAC's current base lease rate and residual value for a 36 month lease of a 2008 Chevrolet Silverado 1500 Extended Cab 4WD with 15,000 miles per year are 4.75% and 57%, respectively. The numbers for an otherwise identical 48 month lease are 4.75% and 48%. As you can see, GMAC publishes lease rates instead of money factors for the vehicles that it ... Read More...

Chevrolet Silverado Prices Paid and Buying Experience

Current pricing 2007 v. 2008

So, its starting to look like the difference between a 08 and 07 right now is about $1500 after rebates. For that difference, I can get what I want/color options (ext. cab long bed is not common here), and for the first few years, anyway, the one year newer would help resale value if I need to sell. Also, it appears that the 08 are flex fuel and cylinder deactivation ... Read More...

Re: Why is the '07 Silverado Max so slow on the Dyno? [hotel1]

It sounds like I should be able to get a tuner that is specific to my needs, right? All i'd want to do it reduce the TM, up the rev limiter, and get rid of the top speed limiter. Is this possible without changing the feel of the shifting? I'd want it to shift smoothly though. Do you know how this works? Also, I dont think you can get a VMax with a 6.0/6-speed tranny combo in ... Read More...

Toyota Tundra vs. Chevrolet Silverado

Re: Reply to Belias [belias]

Continuing my reply to your post: "-more cup/thermos holders across the line" Have you been in each configuration of each vehicle and counted them? I’m not sure how many the tundra has, but I know the Silverado has one for each passenger, which seems reasonable. Are you seriously listing this as a benefit? "- much more advanced Navigation system (see audio/voice ... Read More...

UNCOVERED! All-New 2007 Chevy Silverado!

A spy photographer caught the 07 Silverado with no cammo as it was being unloaded from a truck to shoot a TV commercial! It is a red crew cab 1500 4X4 model with the Z71 off-road package. It looks like a bloated Colorado to me, but I am sure it will sell very well anyway. Here's the link, since I can't attach the pic I had saved on my computer: http://www.speedsportlife.com/2006/06/12/2008-chevy-silverado-uncovered/ Read More...
