So, its starting to look like the difference between a 08 and 07 right now is about $1500 after rebates. For that difference, I can get what I want/color options (ext. cab long bed is not common here), and for the first few years, anyway, the one year newer would help resale value if I need to sell. It sounds like I should be able to get a tuner that is specific to my needs, right? All i'd want to do it reduce the TM, up the rev limiter, and get rid of the top speed limiter. Is this possible without changing the feel of the shifting? I'd want it to shift smoothly though. Do you know how this works? A spy photographer caught the 07 Silverado with no cammo as it was being unloaded from a truck to shoot a TV commercial! It is a red crew cab 1500 4X4 model with the Z71 off-road package. It looks like a bloated Colorado to me, but I am sure it will sell very well anyway.
