Outstanding truck!
THis truck has been a great vehicle. I have the Duramax Diesel / Allison tran, 4x4, CC, LT package. I added a powerchip programmer to it and I get around 18.5mpg, not pulling a trailer, around 13mpg pulling a loaded 18', but the power remains the same either way. You can not go wrong if you need a truck for driving around town or pulling a trailer around.
My Silverado
Great all around vehicle. Used for hauling motorcycles. Commuting, trips. Average over 19MPG for all use. Lost transfer case at 60K.. Covered by warranty(defective). No other problems so far. Have 102K and I plan to take to 300K. On second set of tires. These will go easily past 120K mark. Change oil every 10K and run Mobil ONE after first 30K. Runs strong. Dealer replaced original radio because paint wore off the on button. Replace ment radio has a short. Too late to do anything about it. I would get an afetrmarket radio and not go back to the dealer for another repair. Still on first brakes with 50% wear remaining. Been a great all around vehicle.
Awesome truck
430,000 and semiretired truck but doing great and still looks good Still doing great did have to replace the transfer case but at 428000 not bad. Right at 422000 still looks good and going strong At 389588 still an awesome truck I have 327000 miles and the truck is awesome. No issues just change the oil regular and just put on the forth set of Michelins. 345,000 miles on original motor doing great. Well at 370000 miles the head gasket got tired and I put a jasper engine in. She still looks great and now good for another 300 At 378000 I finally had to put in a rebuilt motor and now it is back doing great. To get 378000 out of a gas engine was awesome. Thanks Chevy for a well built truck

Best 2500 or 3500 out there
I had a 1500 GMc, I had an f150 supercrew. I towed my trailer with the Ford and eventually realized I needed a 3/4 ton truck for towing a travel trailer. These HD trucks are basically 1 ton trucks that are badged as 2500's. These are NOT upgraded 1500's like a regular 2500 is.The base 6.0 litre is fine for all but the most demanding diesel required tasks. The truck hauls everything you can put in it and tows and plows snow like a mother. yeah gas mileage can suck but hey it is what it is...and a lot more. Quality is great on mine. I never open the hood except for washer fluid.
Great truck
I'm not sure which truck I picked from the list but I have the 4WD, Duramax with an Alison transmission. The truck has great power starting off and is quicker then my 2002 F250 Power Stroke. This truck is much quieter and more comfortable. So fat I have driven +20000 miles and have had no problems. I love my truck!
