    i get the same in my 2012 silverado crew cab 1500 exactly the same worries me a bit and now i wanna bring this up with the dealership i bought it from u have any success in finding anything out with whats wrong with the truck?

    i have a 2012 silverado quad cab that vibrates at just under 1500 rpm @ 45 mph. Dealer told me thats when the engine go's into 4 cylinder mode. It does the same thing at idle. I was wondering how i was getting 21 mpg with this truck. Thoroughbred Chevrolet of Chandler Arizona gave this info.

    i had similar issue in 2012 silverado 1500 z71 4x4. My tranny took a dump at 4k, then it was rebuilt and failed again at 8. i had enough with it, contacted gm and the dealer pushed to get a new tranny put in. going on 13k and have not anymore issue. hopefully it stays that way.     Purchased my 2011 Silverado 1500 LTZ Crew Cab October of 2011. The first 7000 miles were at 17.7 miles to the gallon. AFM worked perfectly.     Just bought a new Silverado 1500 in Georgia. 2012 Silverado 1500 LT Crew Cab, 5.3L Vortec, Imperial Blue ($32,770) All-Star Edition ($2915 - $1500 package discount) ==================================================== I was real happy about the deal I made too, until I found out it didn't get the gas mileage shown on the EPA window sticker!
