I have a 2010 silverado 1500 same drivetrain etc. Same problems, which didn't begin untill 10,000 miles. My local Chevy dealer says they cannot find any problems, but REALLY?? This thing drives horrible now! I dread getting behind the wheel of the truck which I absolutely loved the first 10,000 miles. We have had the same issues on our 2009 silverado. GM's customer service was unwilling to work with us :-( so we sent a letter in hopes that they will admit that the parts are junk!!!. I haven't taken my Chevy back to the dealership, but I may have to now. I'm taken it to firestone for spin balancing, etc. I haven had the tires completely changed and still same issue.

recently my service light came on to service my 4 wheel drive. i had it hooked up to the code machine to find out what was wrong and the code reader came back with a 0 saying the truck was running fine and there were no problems but the service light for 4 wheel drive still comes on and i have all ready checked the automatic transfer case fluid and it ... Three weeks ago, we purchased a new 2010 Chevy Silverado 1500--4x4. It has 1500 miles on it. We had the windows tinted today (approx. 60 miles from home), and the gear shift won't budge! Of course, it is under warranty, but I am wondering if this is a common problem. A co-worker of mine had a brand new Chevy Avalanche, and the transmission went out at 8000 miles.

When I got to Wiesner Inc. Huntsville, TX this morning he had the exact truck and the exact price we had discussed. I drove it and liked it. However, this dealer sells GMC as well as Chevrolet and he also had a fresh (May 2010) GMC Sierra Texas Edition, Pure Silver Metallic with MSRP of $32,660 (including destination and -$1000 Texas Edition discount).
