I thought that the 4 x 4 axle actuator was engaging the front axles causing the vibration. I pulled it and it wasn't engaged. I noticed gear oil had came out of the vent hose on front differential. While you are at it, check your brake lines, especially on the frame mount near the front drivers wheel. These are known to fail there and the problem is being investigated by NHTSA. Repair the lines and minimize the risk of a bad accident as they are known to fail during a hard stop. I am speaking from experience on my 2003, and others have reported the same failure mode.
