Hey guys i have a 1994 chevy s-10 LS extended cab with the CPI 4.3 and select trac 4X4 system. i have many issues with this truck that i need help/advice with. 1. I have a 1994 S10 standard cab that runs great but is starting to get quirky. The brake lights above the cab (3rd deck?) are out. The bulbs are brand new and there are no fuses out, not that I can figure out the appropriate one anyways, but regardless they don't work. The regular brake lights are operating fine. I have a 1994 Chevy S-10 Pickup LS/2x4/Auto/4.3 V6/77,000 mi. The vortec V6 has a carb. rather than fuel injection. The problem I am having is a large field of electrical noise emanating from the engine into the cab, totally disrupting my AM radio reception (and not allowing me to listen to the Pats & Red Sox during my long trips in to work!). I have a 1994 Chevy S-10 Pickup, 2.2 liter. it got hot on me one morning, the water pump went out and we replaced it and it wouldn't start. so we replace the crankshaft sensor and spark plugs and it still wont start. it ran fine and i drove it home and shut it off and replace everything, now it wont start. does anyone have any ideas? i'm lost as to what it can be and i need to ... Like with any car/truck, there are lemons and then there are very good cars, sometimes manufactured side-by-side in the same week. It's crapshoot.
