  I have a 95 Chevy S10 ext cab pu. The engine is the 4 cyl with a 5 speed stick. The rubber washer from one of the bolts that holds the cab to the frame fell off. Do you access the bolt from inside the cab? Is it hard to replace the washer?

  Do a pan drop and filter change, forget the flush. With the pan down see what there is for debris, that will tell a lot.

  4.3L vortex 4x4. Noticed gear reving really high at switchin into 2nd. then switching into 3rd. tranny fluid checked/fine. Trying to do a tranny flush but the crossbar is in the way. Anything would help me at this point. Cant afford a new tranny. Suggestions please :)

  I have a 1995 Chevy s-10 with a 2.2 4 cylinder that won't start until I poor fuel into the throttle body and it stays running after that. Fuel pressure while cranking is 42 and goes to 45 on start up. While it is running the brake light is on and it idles at half throttle. All ideas are appreciated.

  When stopped at a traffic light and holding my foot on the brake, the engine surges and it is hard to hold the brake pedal down enough to keep it from jumping forward. It does this over and over. Seems to idle too fast also. 1995 Chevy S-10 Automatic.

  I have recently aquired a 1995 S-10 with a 2.2 that has a rod thrown through the oil pan and am being told that the only 2.2 that will fit this. I have looked at other 2.2's and they look the same. Is this true that a 1995 is the only one that will fit?

  It does sound like the relay - chances of ALL the signal stuff breaking is high - except where it is common in the relays .... I'd do this ... Check a couple bulbs (just to be sure and it only take a couple minutes) Buy a new relay and swap it out (or swap it with another truck ...) If these fail - get out the schematic and the test ...   At one time I was also a Chevy fan, until I bought a 1995 S10. In that time I replaced a wiper motor, power window motor, throttle body and fuel injectors. I was also having problems with the electrical system. I will never own another Chevy again. Next time I'll buy Japanese.
