Check recalls... there have been two recalls on ABS system... one they replaced computer and one was a hose clamp. my 1994 S10 has had the entire system replaced back to the wheel cylinders and my mechanic won't warrantee the work after the 3rd time my brakes went out. good luck!

I have a 1994 S10 standard cab that runs great but is starting to get quirky. The brake lights above the cab (3rd deck?) are out. The bulbs are brand new and there are no fuses out, not that I can figure out the appropriate one anyways, but regardless they don't work. The regular brake lights are operating fine. Also the far left side of the dash board has gone dark. ... Read More
I have a 1994 Chevy S-10 Pickup LS/2x4/Auto/4.3 V6/77,000 mi. The vortec V6 has a carb. rather than fuel injection. The problem I am having is a large field of electrical noise emanating from the engine into the cab, totally disrupting my AM radio reception (and not allowing me to listen to the Pats & Red Sox during my long trips in to work!). This interference occurred with both the factory ... Read More

First, let me say that my post does not cover any problems regarding the Chevy S-10...just praises. I am the owner of a 1994 Chevy S-10 (standard short bed) pickup with a 5-speed transmission. I bought it two years ago, and it now has 43,000 miles. I average 28 miles per gallon. Last week I had new brakes/rotors and a new exhaust put on (the pipe ahead of the muffler rusted ... Read More

It rides great, has a ton of power, and has spent very little time in ... Read More
